Michael DuBois
Michael is originally from American Fork, Utah although he currently calls Salt Lake City his home. He grew up in Utah Valley
and he is the youngest of 8 children. While growing up in the performing arts, Michael developed a love for the piano and music
composition. He has been singing and performing since he was very young and music has always been a part of his life. After
serving a 2 year mission to Sweden and Finland for the LDS church, Michael became a youth counselor for the Especially for
Youth program at BYU. During the next 4 years he was also a student in the opera department at Utah State University. During
his time at EFY, he began writing and singing music that reflected his Christian faith and has found much joy in combining his
faith and his love for music. Michael's favorite memories include performing in the musical production of "Savior of the World"
for 5 seasons at the LDS Conference Center as well as his several appearances in the "Liken the Scriptures" films. He has also
enjoyed many experiences in opera, music theater, and film over the last several years. His most recent film credits include the
recently released film "Midway to Heaven" as well as the recently released Liken film entitled "Jonah and the Great Fish". He was
also part of a television reality series titled "Starbiz" in which he was one of several contestants showcasing and performing
original contemporary music. Michael plans on releasing his original debut album entitled "Along the Way" in the fall as
well.
